This shire was not heavily populated with Daltons. In fact there were only 15 Dalton (or variant) families enumerated in the 1881 Census. Migration is obvious for there were slightly more families with a parent born in Bucks who were enumerated elsewhere in England and they appear in Section II of the Census.
